Adam Fulwiler is a painter currently based in Sturgeon Bay, WI. His paintings investigate communication, improvisation, and painting’s capacity for transformation. He received his BA in painting from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay ('17) and his MFA in painting from the University of Arkansas ('22). He is a recipient of the 2022 Windgate Foundation Accelerator Grant.

He has shown in exhibitions in Arkansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, and New York. Fulwiler was most recently featured in the Door County Contemporary Art Fair and included in a group exhibition at the Painting Center in New York City, NY. His work can be found in notable collections such as the Walton Performing Arts Center, Walmart Home Office, the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, The Visionary, The Miller Art Museum, and CoFounder. Fulwiler is currently the Executive Director of The Hardy Gallery in Ephraim, WI.
